Danish Funding for Serious Games Announced PDF Print E-mail

"The Danish research council have just allocated funding to "Serious Games on a Global Market" which is a 3 year project involving the key people within this area in Denmark and trying to branch this the rest of the world.

The idea it to find ways for developing serious games with a more global appeal that can raise budgets beyond the local markets. This is from a variety of perspectives: design, assesment, market etc.

The budget is around $5,5 mio. Which is quite a substantal amount in Danish circles. The hope is to position Denmark as a key place for the development of Serious Games. " via Simon Egenfeldt-Nielsen, Serious Games ListServ
